Nutrition Counseling
We believe strongly in client-driven changes and we respect each person's freedom of choice when it comes to making these personal changes. We also understand how frustrating it can be to find solutions that work – and often more importantly what DOESN'T work. During your first visit, which takes about an hour, we will work to uncover what is most important to you, what you hope to achieve, and what you are ready to begin working on. We will review your current and past challenges, evaluate your nutritional status and health risks, obtain your height, weight and other pertinent measurements, and begin to explore some realistic goals that fit your lifestyle. Follow-up sessions, which are typically 30 minutes in length, are used to review goals, evaluate strategies, measure progress and make revisions as needed.

Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT)
Many medical conditions such as diabetes, kidney disease, and heart disease can be managed through MNT. With a physician referral, Medicare beneficiaries are eligible to receive MNT for the management of diabetes and non-dialysis kidney disease. For questions about coverage provided by private insurers, we suggest that you call your carrier to determine if MNT is covered under your plan and whether or not a physician referral is needed. At the time of your visit we will provide you with a superbill, which is a form that provides a detailed explanation of services and fees that you have paid, so that you can submit it to your insurance company for reimbursement.

Diet Analysis
Once you complete and return our 3-day food journal, we will provide you with a detailed computerized nutrient analysis within 5 business days. A diet analysis can help you identify problem areas and show you opportunities for making smarter choices. Click here to view a sample diet analysis.

Recipe Analysis
Send us your favorite family recipe and we will analyze its nutrient composition. Simply download and complete our recipe analysis form and within 5 business days of receiving it, we will send you the detailed analysis including a nutrition fact label just like you see on a food package.
