Company Overview

Personal Nutrition, Inc. was established in 2007 by Stacy Fisher, a registered dietitian whose vision was to inspire a return to simple eating.

We believe that God created a complex and diverse food supply for us to enjoy, and we are blessed with an abundance of food choices. Research continues to reveal the synergistic benefits of whole foods, and when considering that the first vitamin was discovered less than 100 years ago, it becomes more apparent that we still have much to learn about the complexities of nutrition.

At Personal Nutrition, we are committed to helping you rediscover the incredible benefits and flavors of simple food.

Stacy Fisher RD, LD

Stacy Fisher has been a registered and licensed dietitian for almost 10 years, and in that time, she has worked in a variety of health care settings ranging from child nutrition to senior nutrition. Stacy earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition & Dietetics at Kent State University in 1999, and completed an internship at Mount Carmel College of Nursing in Columbus, OH. In 2004, she was honored with the Ohio Dietetic Association's "Recognized Young Dietitian of the Year" award. Working as a consultant in over 50 long term care facilities, Stacy saw firsthand the effects of debilitating chronic disease. It became more apparent to her that preventive nutrition care is essential in maintaining good health for a lifetime. Stacy is passionate about helping individuals develop healthy eating habits they can live with.

What is a Registered Dietitian?

Registered Dietitians are nutrition experts who have completed at least a bachelor's degree in nutrition at an accredited college or university. The institution must be approved by the Commission on Accreditation for Dietetics Education (CADE) of the American Dietetic Association (ADA). To achieve registration status (RD), a 900-hour dietetic internship must be completed and a national examination must be passed. In addition, continuing education is required to maintain registration status. Many states also require that a dietitian be licensed (LD). Licensure establishes standards of professional responsibility. For more information, visit the American Dietetic Association at www.eatright.org.
