Company Overview

Our vision is to help you define personal goals and design realistic strategies to transform those goals into realities. We know change isn't easy. And we also know that telling people "what to do" usually doesn't work. We listen carefully to find out what is most important to you - and that's where we start. We invite you to schedule a FREE 15-minute preview appointment to talk with a Registered Dietitian and help you choose the service that best suits your needs.

Our Approach

Food is colorful, flavorful, and satisfying in so many ways. It provides nourishment for our bodies, minds and souls. While food is vital for survival, we have somehow become disconnected from our innate relationship with food; and in addition to alleviating hunger, food is often used to satisfy emotional needs. Food is often labeled as “good” or “bad.” Sometimes people even label themselves as “good” or “bad” based on the foods they have eaten. We believe in the simplicities of eating - eating simply, and simply eating. Surprisingly, nutrition is still a relatively young science, and we have only just begun to understand the nutrient composition of foods. God has created a complex and diverse food supply for us to enjoy, and we are blessed with an abundance of food in this country. Along with that blessing comes the challenge of finding the balance between "too little" and "too much".

What is a Registered Dietitian?

Registered Dietitians are nutrition experts who have completed at least a bachelor's degree in nutrition at an accredited college or university. The institution must be approved by the Commission on Accreditation for Dietetics Education (CADE) of the American Dietetic Association (ADA). To achieve registration status (RD), a 900-hour dietetic internship must be completed and a national examination must be passed. In addition, continuing education is required to maintain registration status. Many states also require that a dietitian be licensed (LD). Licensure establishes standards of professional responsibility. For more information, visit the American Dietetic Association at www.eatright.org.
